It's 5 o'clock in the morning and mom can't sleep so she thought she'd let the close family and friends know how he's doing.
At about 9 last night Jeff went out and slept in the lobby. They were nice and said we could both sleep in here if we wanted to but we just couldn't get comfy. He has slept so wonderfully. The nurse, Ashley, comes in about every two hours to change his diaper and every other time she does, we wake him up to feed him. He's now been fed three times (which means momma gets to hold him) and each time has been eating more and more. He's now up to 4 oz (he usually eats 6).
Swelling has already gone down tremendously. Through the night he has so much swelling his right eye was closed shut but he can now open it again.
I just CANNOT get over how great he looks. I know I keep saying that but he looks amazing.
At midnight tonight Mr. Brett smiled at me. That melted my heart. We've tried to wash the dried blood off his head but due to some pain still up there, he wasn't really liking that. At midnight today Mr. Man gave me a smile... he's coming back... PRAISE JESUS!
